D7 Lead Finder alternative
A D7 Lead Finder alternative that ships the same file every time
D7 prices you by the search. We price you by the lead, and the export carries the same 64 headers on every plan.

What D7 Lead Finder does
D7 is a bulk lead engine for local business data. You type a place and a keyword. A file comes back in minutes.
D7 sells searches, not rows. Each plan sets how many searches you may run in a day. Their own home page promises results in three minutes or less.
One search can return up to 1,200 business leads. That cap sits on their own page. It is a real number and a real strength.
Anyone can run five free searches a day. Their site shows the counter on the home page. You cannot export those free rows.
What a D7 row holds
Their site lists the fields a search hands back.
- Business name, email, website and a split postal address
- Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter links
- Review scores from Google, Facebook and Yelp
- A flag for firms buying ads on Facebook, Instagram or Yelp
- Email provider detection, so you can see who hosts their mail
- Website tech checks, such as WordPress or Google Analytics
That is a wide row. The ad-spend flag is a good idea. The Yelp score is one we do not hold.
Who D7 suits
D7 fits a buyer who wants reach. You want ten countries this week, not one country in depth. You plan to clean the file yourself.
It also fits a one-off job. Run a few searches, grab the rows, move on. Nobody needs a stable schema for that.
D7 says it finds leads worldwide. We cover four countries. On reach they beat us, and it is not close.
We will not pretend D7 is bad value. It is cheap, it is fast, and it reaches far more of the world than we do today.
FindAndClose and D7 Lead Finder, row by row
Every D7 cell below comes off their own site. Where their site says nothing, this table says so.

D7 Lead Finder's pricing and features last checked on 26 July 2026. We re-check every month. Rows shaded grey are ones where they beat us.
A cell reading "Not published" means their own site is quiet on it. That is not the same as a no. If they publish it, we will change the row.
- Pick the trade Type it and take the match. One trade or twenty, on every plan.
- Pick the place Country, region, municipality, city. No plan gates the geography.
- The count moves first The number updates before you spend anything. Looking is free.
- Filter to the ones worth calling Has email, has phone, has a website, has a contact page. Combine them freely.
- Contacts are masked until export You can see a row exists and judge it. The address itself is the product.
- Export what you are looking at The file is exactly this filter set, with nothing dropped in between.
The real trade-off
The honest counter to D7 is not price. It is what lands in the file.
A cheap list is cheap once. You pay again in bounces, in dead calls, and in the hour you lose fixing headers.
So we spend our money on the parts of the row you cannot see in a demo.
- An MX check on each email domain, so you know mail can land
- A switch that keeps only the firms with no website
- A region breakdown, so you can work one county at a time
- A first-seen date on each row, so you know its age
- The same 64 headers in the same order, export after export
Why the MX check matters
We look up the mail servers for the domain behind each address. If the domain can take mail, the row carries a flag.
We never knock on a single mailbox. That trick is rude, it fails often, and it lands you on a blocklist.
So the claim we make is narrow and true. The domain can receive mail. Nothing more.
Why the no-website switch matters
A firm with no website has told you three things at once. It has no agency. It has no marketing budget to defend.
And the person who picks up owns the call. There is nobody else to ask.
On a bulk list those firms sit mixed in with everyone else. You have to find them with a spreadsheet formula. Here it is one switch, and the count updates before you press export.
Why a fixed schema matters
Sixty-four columns, in one order, on every plan. Your CRM import map keeps working next month.
Our headers match scrap.io byte for byte, so a move off them breaks nothing downstream.
That is a dull promise. Dull promises are the ones that save you a Monday.
None of this beats D7 on price or on reach. It beats D7 on what you can do with the file on the day it lands.
Questions people ask about switching from D7
Is FindAndClose cheaper than D7 Lead Finder?
Not on the entry price. Our plans open at €49 a month, and D7 runs cheaper monthly tiers than that.
The two are priced on different things. D7 charges for searches you run in a day. We charge for lead credits you spend on rows you keep. Compare cost per usable row, not cost per month.
Does D7 cover more countries than you?
Yes. D7 says it finds leads worldwide. We hold Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland today.
If your target market sits outside the Nordics, D7 or a wider tool is the better buy right now. We would rather say that than sell you a thin file.
What does "verified email" mean on your rows?
It means we resolved the mail servers for that domain. Mail sent to it has somewhere to go.
It does not mean we knocked on the mailbox. No honest tool at this price does that, and the ones that claim to are guessing. Run a verifier before a big send if the campaign matters.
Can I move my D7 file into your format?
Our export uses the same 64 headers as scrap.io, in the same order, tab separated with a UTF-8 byte order mark.
A D7 file will not match that on its own. Map the fields once, and every export after that lands in the same shape. See what each plan includes.
Do I lose my data if I cancel?
No. The file you downloaded is on your machine and in your CRM, and it stays there.
We do not delete customer exports. Some tools in this market do, and it is worth checking the terms of any list tool before you build a workflow on it.
Is it legal to email these firms?
Every field is public business data, published by the firm on its own Maps listing. Under GDPR that is a legitimate interest case for B2B contact.
You must name yourself and offer an opt-out in the first message. We hold a suppression list per account, and a domain in it is blocked on every later export. Read the full position on data and the law.
