Who buys a list of opticians

An optician is a shop with a clinic behind it, and it buys the way a shop buys.

Two businesses share one door. The eye test pays for the clinic. The frames pay for the rest. Whatever you sell, one of those two pays for it.

90% have claimed the listing and only 16 have no website. Nobody is selling a first website here. That pitch is ten years too late.

What sells is the second visit. Recall is the reminder that an eye test is due, and it is the cheapest sale a shop has. Booking, reviews and the till sit beside it.

The rating is your opening. 275 of these carry one and the average is 4.08. That is low for a shop that claimed its listing and pays for a website.

Read the one-star reviews before you call. A shop hears about waiting times and price in public. Bring that back to them and you have a meeting.

  • Frame and lens brands, after shelf space and a display
  • Practice software: booking, recall, records and the till
  • Review and customer-experience tools, aimed at the rating
  • Shopfitters, display suppliers and retail finance

Sort the file by name. Names that repeat across regions are the chain groups. A chain is one decision, not three hundred, and the branch manager cannot make it.

One thing to know before you buy. 57% of these rows carry an e-mail, which is high for a local trade. Email is a real channel here, not a fallback. Plan the campaign around it.

50 of the 300, with nothing hidden

Sorted by review count. Even at the top of this file the numbers are modest, which tells you something about how opticians in Sweden get their work. 40 of these 50 already carry an e-mail address, which is unusually good for a local trade. No signup and no e-mail wall — the addresses and phone numbers themselves arrive in your export, and that part is the product.

The FindAndClose search results screen, showing real records from the live index.
  1. Pick the trade Type it and take the match. One trade or twenty, on every plan.
  2. Pick the place Country, region, municipality, city. No plan gates the geography.
  3. The count moves first The number updates before you spend anything. Looking is free.
  4. Filter to the ones worth calling Has email, has phone, has a website, has a contact page. Combine them freely.
  5. Contacts are masked until export You can see a row exists and judge it. The address itself is the product.
  6. Export what you are looking at The file is exactly this filter set, with nothing dropped in between.
The Search screen, signed in, querying the live index. This shot is Norway → Plumber, and the 605 on it is the same 605 the plumber page counts. One query, no sampling, no estimate. The shot is Norway → Plumber; run it for opticians in Sweden and the same screen returns 300.

Where they are

Sweden splits into regions, and so does the file. Pick one region and you cut 300 rows down to a list you can work through in a week.

RegionRecords With emailNo websiteShare
Stockholm 118 85 8 39%
Skåne 77 37 4 26%
Västra Götaland 71 33 3 24%
Uppsala 24 13 1 8%
Halland 10 4 0 3%

The 5 regions above hold 300 of the 300 records. The rest sit in smaller regions you can still filter to inside the app.

The 16 with no website, and why there are so few

5% of opticians in Sweden run on a Maps listing and nothing else. None of that is a gap in our data. It is the pitch.

A business with no website has told you three things at once. It has no agency. It has no marketing budget line to defend. And whoever you reach owns the decision, because there is nobody else to ask.

Filter the file to that group and you cut 300 rows to 16. That leaves 284 who already bought a site from somebody. Every rival list sells you both groups mixed together.

In the app this is one switch. Open the Optician category, pick Sweden, tick No website, and export. The count in the corner updates before you press anything.

5% is almost nothing. 16 shops on this file run without a website.

They are worth a look and they are not the play. Expect single-room practices and new openings.

On a retail list the filter that pays is the rating. Sort it low to high and start at the bottom of the file.

One more number worth holding. 90% of these opticians have claimed their listing, so most of the 16 you are about to call do log in somewhere. They chose not to build a site. That is a different conversation from one with an owner who has never been online.

Sweden protects people, and requires a way out for everyone

The four Nordic countries do not share one rule on business e-mail. They disagree with each other, and Sweden is a case in point.

Swedish marketing law asks for consent before you e-mail a natural person. Writing to a company falls outside that rule.

One duty applies whoever you write to. Every marketing e-mail must carry a working reply address for stopping. The statute says plainly that this holds for a company too.

Sweden never extended the consent rule to companies, and said so when it wrote the law. The reply address is the protection it chose instead. Treat it as the one line you cannot drop.

Whichever country you work, we keep a suppression list per account. Anyone who asks you to stop goes in it. The app then blocks that domain on every future export. None of this is legal advice. Read our full position on data and the law and take your own.

Two practical notes for working Sweden

Swedish business English is excellent, so an English message will be read. A Swedish subject line still opens more of them.

Swedish offices keep a real fika at mid-morning and mid-afternoon. Call either side of it, not through it.

Company details are public here. Bolagsverket is the Swedish Companies Registration Office. Check a shortlist against it before you pitch anything expensive.

A sequence that works on opticians

Getting the list is the easy half. This is the sequence these lists are built for, written out in full so you can judge it before you sign up for anything. You run it in your own tool — we do not send anything.

  1. 1 Day 1 Email

    Subject Your last twenty reviews

Hi — I read your last twenty Maps reviews this morning.

The same complaint comes up more than once. I wrote down what it was.

Want the page? Reply "send it" and it is yours, free, whether we work together or not.

Reply "stop" and I will not write again.

57% of this file has an email, so email leads on opticians. Reading their reviews first costs ten minutes and buys the reply. Sweden asks every marketing e-mail to carry a working reply address for stopping. Send from a box you actually read.

  2. 2 Day 5 In store

Walk in mid-week, mid-morning. The diary is thin then.

Never a Saturday. Saturday is the week's takings and nobody will talk to you.

Ask for the store manager by name, then ask who signs for this kind of thing.

You can stand inside a shop and look at it. That is a retail advantage the building trades never give you.

  3. 3 Day 10 Phone

Call between 9 and 10am, before the first appointment.

290 of the 300 carry a number, so this step covers almost the whole file.

Morning is the one quiet hour a shop gets. After that the phone belongs to customers.

  4. 4 Day 20 Email

    Subject Closing your file

Last one from me. I am closing your file today.

If you are part of a group, tell me who at head office owns this. I will take it there instead.

On a chain branch a no is a routing problem, not a rejection. Ask for the name and the file pays twice. Sweden asks every marketing e-mail to carry a working reply address for stopping. Send from a box you actually read.

The FindAndClose export panel screen, showing real records from the live index.
  1. It exports the whole result Every row the filter matched, not the page you happen to be looking at.
  2. CSV or XLSX Tab-separated UTF-8, or typed Excel columns. One file per job.
  3. 34 groups, 64 columns The same 64 on every plan. Nothing is held back for a higher tier.
  4. Three presets Contact only, full record, or the outreach set. Or tick your own.
  5. The cost, before you commit One credit per place, once per 30 days. Re-downloading is free.
The export drawer. Thirty-four column groups write 64 columns, and every one of them is on every plan — including the €49 one. The shot is Norway → Plumber; run it for opticians in Sweden and the same screen returns 300.

What lands in your export, on a file where the owners are paying attention

Sixty-four columns per row, on every plan. Everything on this page comes out of six of them.

The file arrives as CSV or XLSX. One row per business, 300 rows for this list, and no row limit on any plan. Here is how full each column actually is for these opticians, so you can plan the campaign before you pay for it.

  • Name, address, postcode, region and coordinates — all 300 rows
  • Phone — 290 rows, 97% of the file
  • Email, with the page we found it on — 172 rows, 57%
  • Website — 284 rows, and 16 flagged as having none
  • Rating and review count — 275 rows carry a rating, averaging 4.08
  • Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn — 98, 98 and 63 rows
  • Owner has claimed the listing — 271 rows, 90%
  • Opening hours, price level, the Maps category tree, first seen and last seen

This list is 300 rows. Every one of them fits inside a single month on the €49 Starter plan, which carries 10,000 lead credits.

Your export stays yours. Cancel tomorrow and the file you already downloaded is still on your machine and still in your CRM. We do not delete customer exports, and we will not start.

What people ask before buying the Sweden optician file

How do I tell the chains from the independents?

Sort by business name. Names that repeat across regions are the chain groups.

Pull those into their own file. A chain is one decision and a slow one. The independents can say yes in a week.

Why is the average rating lower than a trade list?

A shop collects opinions from everyone who walks in. A trade only hears from the customer who hired them.

So 4.08 says more about the volume of opinion than the standard of the work. It is still the fastest opening on this list.

Does this separate opticians from eye clinics and sunglasses shops?

This page counts the Optician category only. Maps keeps eye clinics and sunglasses shops in their own categories.

The export carries the full category tree, so you can see everything else a row claims to be.

How current is the 300?

The count on this page comes out of the live database, and the date beside it is the last time we saw these rows on Maps.

We re-crawl Sweden on a rolling schedule. A business that closes drops out, and a new one appears, without you doing anything. Pull the list again in a month and the difference is the month's new openings.

Can I legally cold-email this list in Sweden?

Writing to a company, yes. Swedish law asks for consent for a natural person. A company is not one. Sole traders are the exception, and an address alone will not tell you which is which.

Every message must carry a working reply address for stopping. Swedish law applies that to companies too. Put it in the first message, not the footer. This is not legal advice, so check your own position first.

What does the Sweden optician list cost?

This list is 300 rows. Every one of them fits inside a single month on the €49 Starter plan, which carries 10,000 lead credits. Every plan searches every country we hold, with every filter and all 64 export columns.

The trial runs 14 days and gives you 100 leads, with no card. That covers all 118 in Stockholm if you filter first. See what each plan includes.
