The Scrap.io alternative that lets you keep your exports
Our column headers match theirs, one for one. Country search sits on every plan. Cancel, and the files you pulled are still yours.

What Scrap.io is good at
We copied their export schema on purpose. So start with the parts where they beat us.
Scrap.io launched in 2021 and has run every day since. Few tools in this market last that long. They have a real customer base and a support team behind it.
Their index covers 195 countries. Ours covers four. If you sell into Spain or Brazil, buy from them. This page will not talk you out of it.
They pull from three map platforms. Google Maps, Apple Maps and Bing Maps. We pull from Google Maps today. Apple and Bing sit on our roadmap. We will not list them as live until they are.
They carry 4,000+ business categories, and so do we. Their filter set is deep. You can slice by rating, review count, phone, email and social profile.
They let you count results before you spend a credit. That is the right way to sell credits. We do the same thing, for the same reason.
They ship a REST API and an MCP server. We ship the API from our middle tier. We have no MCP server at all.
Scrap.io built this category. We match their 64 headers because their layout is the right layout. A move between the two should cost you nothing.
Where they win outright
- 195 countries against our four
- Apple Maps and Bing Maps, live in the product today
- Years of track record and a large customer base
- An MCP server, so an AI agent can query the data
Scrap.io and FindAndClose, row by row
Every figure here came off their own site on the date at the foot of the table. Grey rows are the ones they win.

Scrap.io's pricing and features last checked on 26 July 2026. We re-check every month. Rows shaded grey are ones where they beat us.
Prices read off their pricing page on the date above. They also bill yearly at a lower monthly rate, as we do. We re-check this table every month.
- Pick the trade Type it and take the match. One trade or twenty, on every plan.
- Pick the place Country, region, municipality, city. No plan gates the geography.
- The count moves first The number updates before you spend anything. Looking is free.
- Filter to the ones worth calling Has email, has phone, has a website, has a contact page. Combine them freely.
- Contacts are masked until export You can see a row exists and judge it. The address itself is the product.
- Export what you are looking at The file is exactly this filter set, with nothing dropped in between.
The one thing that decides it
Two rows in that table matter more than the rest. Both are about what you keep.
Your export after you cancel
Scrap.io removes your exports when your subscription ends. Their help centre says so in plain words. It tells you to download everything first.
That policy is real, and people resent it. A list you paid for turns into a deadline. Miss the date and the work goes with it.
We take the other side. Your file is yours. Cancel today and the CSV on your laptop still opens. The rows in your CRM stay put.
We do not delete customer exports. We will not start. That is not a plan feature, it is the deal.
Read their wording for yourself. The line sits in the Scrap.io help centre under cancellation, and in their terms.
The map is not an upsell
Scrap.io gates geography by plan. City search on the entry plan. Region search costs more. A whole country sits on their $499 monthly plan.
We do not gate the map. Our €49 plan searches a whole country. So does the 14-day trial, on day one.
Credits are the only thing that rises with price here. Not the map. Not the filters. Not the 64 columns.
That is a design choice, not a promotion. Geography is where most tools charge you twice, and we think that is a bad way to sell.
What a switch involves
This is the short part. The schema matches, so most of the work is already done.
- Download your Scrap.io exports first. Do this before you cancel. Their system drops them at period end.
- Start our trial. 14 days, 100 leads, no card. Nothing turns into a paid plan on its own.
- Rebuild one search. Same category, same country. Put the two counts side by side and judge them.
- Export and read the header row. The 64 headers match. Your CRM mapping and your scripts keep working.
- Keep both if you sell outside the Nordics. Plenty of agencies do. Our four countries are not everyone.
Most of the fear in a switch lives in the import step. That step is the one we took away.
If your outreach tool reads a Scrap.io CSV, it reads ours. Same column names, same order, same shape.
The rest is a judgement call about coverage. Run one search in each and look at the counts. That takes an afternoon.
Questions people ask before they move
Should I stay with Scrap.io?
Often, yes. If you sell into 195 countries, stay. If you need Apple Maps or Bing Maps, stay. If your team leans on their MCP server, stay.
Move if your market is Nordic, if the country-wide upsell grates, or if you want your exports to outlive the subscription.
Do your 64 columns really match theirs?
Yes, header for header. That was a design goal, not a happy accident.
Point your CRM import at our file and it maps the same way. No renaming, no fresh mapping sheet, no broken script.
What happens to my data if I cancel FindAndClose?
Nothing happens to it. The file you downloaded stays on your machine. We do not reach into your export.
You lose the app and any new searches. You do not lose the work you already paid for.
Is FindAndClose cheaper than Scrap.io?
It depends on what you search. Their entry plan is $49 a month on monthly billing. Ours is €49. Both hold 10,000 credits.
The gap opens on geography. Country search sits on their $499 plan and on our €49 plan. See what each tier holds.
How big is your Nordic index?
44,684 records across Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. Every count on our pages comes out of the live database.
We print the number and the date beside it. Browse every list we hold and check our working.
Do you have an API like theirs?
Yes, a REST API from the €99 tier. It runs at 10 requests a second there, and faster on the tiers above.
We have no MCP server. Scrap.io does. That is a fair win for them, and we mark it as one in the table.
