What happens when the free trial ends
It stops. Nothing converts, nothing is charged, and you keep every file you exported. What still works on day 15, and how to choose a plan when you are ready.
The trial runs for fourteen days and then ends. There is no branch in this story, because there is no card on the account and therefore nothing that could start charging you.
| Thing | What happens |
|---|---|
| Being charged | Not at all. There is no card and no subscription. |
| A plan starting automatically | Never. You choose one or you do not. |
| Files you already downloaded | Yours, permanently. |
| Exports still listed in the app | Still downloadable, free, until their retention period lapses. |
| New exports | Blocked until you choose a plan. |
| Searching, filtering and counting | Still work. |
| Saved searches | Kept. |
| Your account | Stays open indefinitely unless you close it. |
Running out of the 100 credits before day 14 does not end the trial early. It stops exporting and nothing else; the clock still runs to fourteen days and you can keep searching throughout.
Choosing a plan, whenever you are ready
Pick one in Account → Subscriptions. Credits are issued as soon as payment clears and exports resume the same minute. There is no re-onboarding and no data migration — the account you trialled with is the account you keep, saved searches included. You can do this on day 3, on day 15, or in March.
What you are buying is volume. Every capability you used during the trial — country-wide search, Geo Search, every filter, every column — is on the cheapest plan too. Starter takes you from 100 exported leads a month to 10,000; Growth to 50,000; Scale to 250,000. Nothing else switches on or off with the geography. See how lead credits work.
You keep the data you exported
This is worth being explicit about, because some tools claw data back. We do not. A file on your machine is a file you own; the rows in it are yours to use, subject to acceptable use. Nothing expires, nothing phones home, nothing stops working — and that holds whether you subscribe afterwards, walk away, or are refunded a year later.
If the trial did not tell you enough
That happens, particularly if your market is thin or a hundred rows was not a big enough sample to judge. Two options rather than opening a second account:
- Subscribe to the tier you actually need and use the 14-day refund window as your real evaluation period. Under 20% of the month's credits spent and it is refundable.
- Write to
support@findandclose.comand explain what you still need to test. An extended evaluation is a conversation, not a policy.
