What we hold in Norway

9,632 businesses, pulled from Google Maps and counted on 26 July 2026. Here is the shape of the file before you pay for any of it.

Norway is the deepest file we hold. We crawled it first and it shows.

The file runs from accountants at the top down to roofing contractors at the bottom.

The headline is the website gap. 2,870 of these firms run on a Maps listing and nothing else.

That is 30% of the whole country file. For a web agency it is the entire pitch list.

The email side reads 38%. So 3,686 of the 9,632 give you an address to write to.

The rest give you a phone number and a door. Both still work, and both cost more time.

The biggest single trade here is accountants, at 851 records. The widest website gap sits with dentists, where 47% have no site.

Every number on this page comes out of the live database. We do not round them up and we do not model them.

A count you cannot check is a count you should not trust. So we print ours next to the date we took it.

The FindAndClose search results screen, showing real records from the live index.
  1. Pick the trade Type it and take the match. One trade or twenty, on every plan.
  2. Pick the place Country, region, municipality, city. No plan gates the geography.
  3. The count moves first The number updates before you spend anything. Looking is free.
  4. Filter to the ones worth calling Has email, has phone, has a website, has a contact page. Combine them freely.
  5. Contacts are masked until export You can see a row exists and judge it. The address itself is the product.
  6. Export what you are looking at The file is exactly this filter set, with nothing dropped in between.

Read the third number first. It is the one that tells you who has nobody selling to them yet.

A firm with no site has no agency, no retainer and no marketing manager to get past.

The second number tells you how you can reach them. A low email count means a phone list, not a bad list.

The trades that are too thin to sell

We publish a trade page at 300 records. Below that the list is too small to be worth your money, so we say so.

15 of our 25 Norwegian trades clear that floor. 10 do not.

The largest of the thin ones is travel agencies, at 274 records. That is real data. It is not a list you can run a campaign on.

Here are the ones we cannot yet publish, with what we hold for each.

  • Travel agencies — 274
  • Opticians — 271
  • Pharmacies — 259
  • Cleaning companies — 250
  • Painters — 247
  • Car rental agencies — 244
  • Hairdressers — 225
  • Florists — 224
  • Veterinary clinics — 199
  • Roofing contractors — 184

Most of those sit within a hundred records of the line, so a deeper crawl of Norway moves several of them onto the published side.

You can still export any of these inside the app. There is no lock on a small category.

What we will not do is build a landing page that claims a national list and hands you a hundred rows.

Which is how a thin list gets sold twice. It is also how a search engine learns to skip a whole site.

If a trade on that list matters to you, tell us. We can push a deeper crawl at it.

Selling into Norway

The list is the easy half. Here is what changes once you start writing to Norwegian owners.

Write the first line in Norwegian

Norwegians read English without effort. That is not the same as answering it.

A cold email in Norwegian reads like a neighbour wrote it. One in English reads like a mailing list.

You do not need a full translation. Put the subject line and the first sentence in Norwegian.

Bokmål is the safe written standard for business. Nynorsk is real, and you will not need it for a first email.

Ask a question in Norwegian and most owners answer in Norwegian. Some flip to English on their own.

The register is called Brønnøysund

Norway keeps its company data at the Brønnøysund Register Centre. Everyone shortens that to Brønnøysund.

It runs the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities. Every firm there carries a nine-digit organisation number.

The public lookup at brreg.no costs nothing. Type a name and you get the legal entity behind the shopfront.

Our rows come from Maps, not from that register. Use the two together and you know who you are writing to.

The working day, and the month to skip

The Norwegian office day starts early. Eight in the morning is normal and four in the afternoon is the end.

Call before nine and you often reach the owner. After four you reach nobody.

July is the month to skip. Most of the country takes fellesferie, a shared summer break of about three weeks.

Send in mid-July and you collect out-of-office replies. Send in late August and you catch a fresh desk.

What lands in the export

Sixty-four columns per row, on every plan, for every one of these 25 trades.

The file comes as CSV or XLSX. One row per business, with no row cap on any plan.

  • Name, street address, postcode, region and map coordinates
  • Phone, with a flag for the ones that reach a mobile
  • Email, plus the page we pulled it from, so you can check our working
  • Website, and a flag for the firms that have none
  • Rating, review count and whether the owner has claimed the listing
  • Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn where the listing carries them
  • Opening hours, price band and the full Maps category tree
  • First seen and last seen, so you know how old a row is

Your file stays yours. Cancel next week and the export on your laptop still works.

We do not delete customer exports. See what each plan holds.

Every plan reaches every country and every filter. There is no upgrade wall on geography.

Questions about the Norwegian data

How many businesses do you hold in Norway?

9,632 open businesses across 25 trades, counted on 26 July 2026.

Closed listings drop out on the next crawl, so the number moves. We stamp every page with the date we took it.

Why do only 38% have an email?

An email lives on a website contact page. A firm with no site has no page for us to read.

2,870 of these 9,632 have no site. That alone caps how high the email share can go. We cover the full effect in our study of the email gap.

Can I filter to one region of Norway?

Yes. Region, city and postcode filters are on every plan, including the trial.

Most buyers take one region first, run a week of outreach, then buy the rest. It is a cheaper way to test a message.

Is cold outreach to these firms legal?

Every field here is public business data, put up by the business on its own listing.

Under GDPR that is legitimate interest for B2B contact, and your first message must offer an opt-out. We hold a suppression list per account. Read our full position.

What does it cost to pull this list?

Plans open at €49 a month for 10,000 lead credits. Every plan searches every country we hold.

The trial runs 14 days and gives you 100 leads with no card. Enough to test one town.
