Upgrading, downgrading and changing plan mid-cycle
Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated to the day. Downgrades take effect at renewal so you keep what you paid for. Where to click, and what happens to credits.
Plan changes live in Account → Subscriptions. Both directions are self-service; neither needs an email to support.
Upgrading
Immediate. You are charged a prorated amount for the days remaining in the current period, and the new allowance becomes available the moment the payment clears — usually seconds. This is the right move when you have hit the credit ceiling mid-campaign: you do not have to wait for a reset.
Upgrading does not widen the map, because the map is not what the tiers differ by. Country-wide search, Geo Search, every indexed market and all 4,000+ categories are on Starter. Pay for volume. Never for access. Here is the whole of what actually changes:
| Starter | Growth | Scale | Enterprise | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | €49 | €99 | €249 | Quoted |
| Annual, per month | €39 | €79 | €199 | Annual contract |
| Credits / month | 10,000 | 50,000 | 250,000 | From 1,000,000 |
| Seats | 1 | 5 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Credit rollover | None | 1 month | 3 months | 12 months |
| Categories per search | 25 | 100 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Export formats | CSV, XLSX | + JSON | + Parquet | + Parquet |
| REST API | Not included | 10 req/s | 50 req/s | 200 req/s |
| MCP, webhooks, scheduled exports | Not included | Included | Included | Included |
| SSO | No | No | No | Yes |
| File retention | 30 days | 90 days | 12 months | From 24 months |
| Support | Email, 1 business day | Priority email, 4 business hours | 2 business hours, shared Slack | Named contact, 1 hour, contractual SLA |
Growth is the step most people want. It is twice the price of Starter for five times the leads, and it is where the REST API and the MCP server switch on.
Downgrading
Applies at your next renewal, not immediately. You keep the volume you already paid for until the period ends. Nothing is refunded, because nothing is taken away early.
Check what you lose before the renewal date
Downgrading never narrows the map — a saved search that covers a whole country runs on every plan. What it can break is an integration: dropping from Growth to Starter switches off the REST API, the MCP server, webhooks and scheduled exports, and any script holding a key stops working at the renewal. It also shortens how long finished files are kept and reduces your seats. Move anything that matters before the date rather than after.
What a downgrade cannot touch is the data. Every geographic capability, every filter and all 64 export columns are on every plan, so a smaller tier returns the same rows — you may simply export fewer of them per month.
What happens to credits
- On upgrade, the new allowance replaces the old one for the remainder of the period, and credits issued from then on carry the new tier's rollover window.
- On downgrade, the new, smaller allowance and the shorter rollover window both start at the renewal. Credits already carried over keep the expiry they were issued with — how rollover works.
- Credits already spent are never recalculated. A row exported on Starter does not become cheaper because you upgraded on the 20th.
Monthly ↔ annual
Switching to annual takes about 20% off the monthly rate and commits you to twelve months. Switching mid-term is possible in the upgrade direction; the unused portion of the current term is credited against the new plan. See annual billing.
Seats
A seat is a person with their own login on the account. Starter is a single seat, Growth is five, and Scale and Enterprise are unlimited. There is no per-seat add-on to buy on Starter or Growth — you move up a tier instead.
Everyone on an account shares one credit pool, which is worth knowing when a balance moves unexpectedly.
Above Scale
Enterprise is quoted rather than listed, on an annual contract. It starts
at a million credits a month and adds SSO, a 200 requests-a-second API limit, file retention
from 24 months, twelve-month credit rollover and a named contact with a contractual SLA. It
does not add any data or any geography, because there is none left to add. Write to
